Google introduced Google Tag Manager in 2012, a free tool that makes it easy for marketers to add and update website tags – including conversion tracking, site analytics, remarketing, and more—from one interface, and without needing to edit your website code, coordinate with IT Departments, etc.

When it was first released, there was very little documentation or support available. However, now Google has improved the usability of the GTM interface, created tons of great learning materials, and has opened a limited-time opportunity for users to earn a Google Tag Manager Fundamentals Certificate from June 23rd through July 24, 2015.

So, hurry up and visit the Google Analytics Academy to get started!
